Social and Emotional Health

The physical and mental wellbeing of children and young people is linked – one has a direct impact on the other.

Living Well Schools believes that social, emotional and mental wellness of students is as important as physical health. We would like to promote programmes available locally that aim to support mental health and wellbeing.

Our aim is for all local schools to create an environment to enhance the mental wellbeing of its students. We want to encourage children and young people to recognise if they are struggling emotionally and be able to find support without fear of stigma.
